Apparently your reference point and defenition for the word "large" is vastly different than mine.

I mean that with respect to other flagship phones around the same price range - Galaxy S8/S9, Note 8, LG V30, iPhone X etc. Compared to those phones, the P2XL looks reather chunky to me with larger top, bottom and side bezels than all of them.

I guess? I def. disagree. I used the S8 and iPhone X. I don't see it as chunky.

Half way through the year are you still happy with your Pixel 2XL?

I am not. I purchased two of the 128 gig models.

Currently, I am on my third replacement phone.

I've had problems with the proximity detector not working on two of the original purchases, second phone not charging and the Bluetooth not working right.

Ultimately, I'm disappointed in the poor build quality and horrible refurbished replacements.

What are your experiences?

I'm pretty happy with my phone now. Like you, I had to exchange my phone more than once, I think I had to do it three or four times. This was about 3 or 4 months ago though, so I was still getting brand new units. The one I have seems to be fine now. I'm excited to see what they're going to do with the pixel 3. Hopefully they will have a great screen on it this time.

Just bought a P2 XL for my husband. I had bought him an OG Pixel XL from eBay and 3 months later it just died. Waste of £400. Carphone Warehouse are selling 64GB P2 XL for £629 so I got him the upgrade. I set it up for him and it is just so nice. The screen is still as good as mine. I think he will enjoy using his new phone.

New Pixel 2 XL working beautifully. No screen issues or touchscreen issues. Sounds great. So that is 2 fully working Pixel 2 XLs in my home.

That's odd because mine never stopped working no matter which update I've had on this phone
