Are you still happy with the g4?

Do you remember how we hoped for the same from Android 5? :)

Yeah... I thought Android 5.0 was supposed to fix Android OS battery issue for everybody. Guess not. IIRC, even Android 4.0 made claims about "improved" battery life and butterly smoothness for all.

That's why I'm not expecting too much from Android 6.0. :) It will be "better" but how much better is another question.

BTW... I just finished scanning through over 300 posts in this thread. I'm confused. Do people still like their G4 or not? I'm getting my G4 tomorrow and it's essentially totally free... yet I'm having second thoughts for no reason. :(

oh thanks hahah ibmust not be cool enough lol

omg... imho u r cool. I was like lol. ttyl! :) afaik, that's how 12s talk... idk.

English translation: oh my god, in my humble opinion, you are cool. I was like laughing out loud. talk to you later. as far as I know, that's how 12-year-olds talk.... I don't know....

At least that's how my 12-year-old niece texts on the phone. I guess that's progress? When I was 12, I had a rotary-dial phone in my home..

Hahah this is true. I'm 28 so I'm not that old but old enough to not know the acronyms of today.

You weren't even around when they made the first Back to the Future!!!

I was alive when Nixon was in office and during the Bicentennial. Now I feel old. :(

Ok, that's it.. I have got to go hook up with a hot mature older woman(someone like Susan Sarandon) to make me feel young again. I once dated a woman who just graduated from college, yes, half my age. It made me feel soooooo old.

I really like my G4. The only place I ever see any lag is occasionally when unlocking the phone via a pattern unlock. Otherwise it's an extremely smooth experience for me. Battery life is also quite good. My average over two months is about 24 hours per charge with 4 hours SOT. That's more than enough for my usage.

I believe that I may have three. :)

Heh, yeah my house currently contains four (yes four) iPhones. In my defense, the wife uses them while I've always stuck with Android. Although I do have her old 4S on a charger upstairs that I use for convenient access to my Sonos system.

My phone runs super smooth, even before all the updates. I was having a small problem with keyboards but that is a thing in the past...my g4 is running like a dream right now

True, iPhone are for girls lol. But to each their own.

I just came back from a vacation using my g4 and a re camera. The battery on my g4 could be better but everything else was great. My neck camera wasn't used once

Taking only my G4 and my Re-camera into the Parks.

When last I looked, I was not a girl so far as I could tell, but my word, those little 3.5" and 4" iPhones feel wonderfully small in the hand. BUT I saw a woman in the street yesterday with what looked like an entire door in her hands....I think it must have been a G4-dwarfing 6+. :)

I've had my G4 for about three months and I have absolutely no complaints other than the "ok Google" command not always working by voice command. Other than that, it's been one of the best phones I've owned. I was coming from a Note 4 Edge which while pretty cool, also was exhibiting a lot of lag and I have rarely if ever used that term for a phone but I figured that one deserved it. Add to that the fact that Samsung decided to follow Apple and do away with removable batteries and SD cards, I did a LOT of research on what else was out there and I finally settled on the G4 (wanted premium phone). I have never regretted that decision. My phone never lags, the battery is as good as you'll find although, as usual, the Blackberry still is king in that department (Passport). I am happy enough with it that I am getting one for my husband now as his Note 4 is starting to act up, even after a master reset. Samsung just isn't going in a direction I like. Their phones are starting to look cheap now except the S6 Active which is still very nice. Anyway, I just don't see how you go wrong with the G4.
