Are you still happy with the g4?

I'm going on about 4 months now, with my AT&T version. I still love the phone. No complaints or problems at all. Battery is decent, camera is fantastic, and I for one really like LG's software.

Hi all. My LG G4 recording rehearsals of 2 bands I'm in sucks big time. I also have a Motorola Moto G 1st generation and the recorded sound its awesome. I can clearly distinguish bass,drums,keyboards,guitar and vocals with zero distortion and a very good balance overall. Do you guys think this can be addressed via firmware / software update? Thanks for reading.

I got a nexus 5X and played with my GFs Nexus 6p. After 1 week of use of both Nexus.. I went back to my G4.. I miss a lot of things with this baby! And im very happy!! I guess First love never dies

I love the size naked, I think it's perfect...but I get what your saying because when I put a case on the phone it just feels too big

I think with just a bumper and the leather back it feels good, certainly easier to handle than my MXPE.

No. This will be my last LG. Tired of the ui, the slow updates, and my battery life has been going downhill since I bought it. Another big problem is how fast the value drops on these LGs. After a month or two they drastically reduce the price, and then keep reducing it, offering sales and promotions...I bought mine a little over two months ago and what has happened in that time has astonished me. I couldn't even sell this for what I owe which means I would have to pay to get rid of it! I feel burned by LG and won't be giving them my business again.

Gave up on the G4 and exchanged for a SAMSUNG Galaxy S6. Great phone BTW.

Same. I sold it for other reasons, but since I'm back on my Nexus 5 now, the size is to-die-for. I love the feeling of it naked with the soft-touch back. I wish LG kept the size of the G3 (or even G2) for the G4.

I'll make a move at some point too, the size of the GS3 was perfect for me, heck maybe even a bit smaller would be fine.

Yeah, I enjoyed the big screen for media of course; but functionally, it was merely "fine" for most things and downright a nuisance for other things. Google Music's interface in particular (which I use 90 billion times a day) is annoying for one-handed use on a 5.5 inch screen without having to slide the phone up and down in your hand and have it slip out and fall.

The Nexus 5's 5-inch screen is still palm-able while being somewhat large for media as well.
I think I could possibly go with a 5.2 inch screen as my highest for comfortability and functionality.

But everything unfortunately is going 5.5 and above now....it doesn't seem like anything on paper, but in hand, those .2 inches make a big difference in using the interface. And .5 inches makes a ginormous difference.

Not sure what the heck my next phone will be once the Nexus 5 craps out on me :-/

G4 was great but sold it and got the Priv and there's not much in it.

Priv pros:
battery life better
Physical keyboard
Near stock

Cons:
Front facing camera

I still like it the battery life is suspect but overall I do enjoy the phone
If I waited a bit longer I would took a chance on The BlackBerry Priv Due to the added security but I am happy with the G4 happy with the camera but the battery life I am on the fence with
