are you still really happy with your s5?

I completely agree with you. I was a little annoyed that they didn't include wireless charging with a USB port cover like that. Has the wireless charging back even released yet? My gripe with the added covers makes all the cases not fit anymore.. Oh well.

Yes, both the SView Version and just the back.

This seems to be a growing issue with the S5.

It is an issue, but you have to also understand the volume of phones out there, and the amount of people who aren't reporting they AREN'T having problems. Remember, people come to these forums to mostly figure out resolutions to their problems, or just to complain in some cases. The people that don't have problems largely don't show up to say so. It's two bad you had a bad experience with Samsung, my experiences with them have been decent so far. But overall, especially with how mainstream Galaxy phones are becoming, the issues you are seeing percentage wise are probably low.

I've had my S5 for about 2, weeks now and only have one issue with it. I upgraded from a very well integrated S4 to the S5 and added a Tab 3 to go with it. The upgrades went extremely well and only had to come to this forum to get help on getting my calendars to sync. The only issue I have, with the S5 is how flimsy the charge plate cover is. Although this has been discussed else where. Really like the phone, especially the battery life which is much better than the S4.

Sir, please Help me, I am using Samsung galaxy S5 G900F,, when i play it 360p or 480p video, then it support full screen video resolution(mode), But when i play 720p, 1080p video, then it does not support full screen resolution video(mode), How can i play 720p,1080p video at full screen mode?

I've had my T-Mobile S5 since launch. I love the display even though it scratches super easy and I'm very careful with my phones. Battery life is the best I've experienced with a phone the only exception being the unfortunately brief period I had my note 3. That phone was perfect fit my needs but I digress. I love the camera on the s5. It takes better pics than my 5S and it's much faster at snapping the pic. The finger print scanner is total crap. When I switch to AT&T I'll get the note 4.

I'm still happy, I gave my 11 month old GS4 to my sister and I used her upgrade to get my GS5.
Couldn't be happier!

I've had my S5 since the AT&T launch on April 11. I came from the Nexus 4. I was always impressed with the display on the S3 and S4. I was going to stay with the Nexus line, but the Nexus 5 was bland. There was nothing great looking about it. So I jumped ship and got my first Samsung device. I don't like all the bloatware, but that's easy to get past...I just disabled them all. The S5 is a beautiful device and I'm glad I switched.

I've had so many, while I do love them all there was always something missing, which is why I constantly sell them. Take the Z2, I bought it 2-3 weeks after the S5 but like I said Build Quality can only take you so far, I sold it because mainly the display quality when compared to the S5 bothered me.

Now that Samsung made the S5 waterproof...sorry, water resistant (LOL), improved TouchWiz, etc. I'm afraid I will break my personal record, 4 months ownership. LOL

I came from a Droid DNA and 2 other HTC phones before that. I've only had the phone for 2 days, but I do think there is something to the lag comments some have.

When I say lag I mean clicking on an email an having to wait a fraction of a second longer than my old phones for it to open. This isn't the end of the world but it is definitely noticeable and unclear to me why a brand new powerful phones like this would have that problem. Even stuff like unlocking the phones seem to take a little longer than most phones.

I like the size and most everything elseabout the phones which is why I got it in the first place.

I, too, came from a DNA and you are right. This phone is nowhere near as "snappy" or immediate in its respose to commands. But it does so much more than the DNA. The screen is magnificent and MUCH brighter than the DNA's which is especially apparent in bright sunlight. The camera (which takes forever to open) is light years better, and battery life is easily twice that of the DNA to name just three things. You get used to the slight delay. It's really no big thing.

But fundamentally you are 100% correct.

very unhappy with the so called spark service, never have internet and phone service is horrible with sprint.

Just to be clear, your beef is with Sprint, not the S5.

Sorry for the bad service, you should investigate which carrier offers better services and coverage in your area and jump ship.

I'm not very happy with 4G on Sprint and much less with their 3G.
But for the price and getting 4G in 95% of the places I work and live, I'm staying put, for now.

I wish I could get at least 80 down and 50 up. But this is decently fast.

I started with the S5 and then bought a G3. The camera on the G3 is not as good as the S5. The screen is bigger but the display looks faded to me. They are both great phones. Looking forward to the Note Edge.

Yeah I like my GS5, but I'm ready for an upgrade
Sony xperia z3, iPhone 6, HTC one m8, or note 4, here I come!

Download Widgetlocker. Made by the same team that makes Nova Launcher. You can put as many widgets on the lockscreen as will fit. Apps as well.

I love the phone.

My ONLY complaint is that I can't get Notifications or Widgets on the Lockscreen without having to swipe down the Notification Panel.

I hope Samsung adds an update to make the Lockscreen customizable with Notifications and Widgets. Seems like a really strange feature to omit.

I have my phone at my desk all day long - seems silly to have to unlock it every time I want to see an update or a specific widget.

I'm a little late to the game and tooth is thread but..... I freaking love this phone. Yeah, there will always be something new on the horizon, but the S5 is still rockin'. More accessories than any other phone besides Apple something, and a big user community.

With Nova Launcher, 140 something apps, a big SD card, a Mophie Juice Pack and a spare battery just because I can - loving it.
