I got the OEM bumper this week. It is a very nice product. The fit is nice and I love how the buttons look and feel. My only complaint is that it does add a bit of extra width. My Nillikin case didn't add as much so it allowed better one hand usage. It surprised me how much that little bit of extra width impacted it.

I will continue to use it for a while as the phone does look fantastic with it on.

Cancelled my preorder when I found out that the fusion is just as thick as the OEM bumper around the edges. I guess I am going back to stock.
The Nillikin case doesn't add nearly as much thickness. It could be an option for you when you need something out of the home etc.

Thanks but I already have a ringke slim if I get the urge for a case that covers up the back.

that looks like a good option. For what it's worth, I dropped my phone today for the first time. I had the OEM bumper on it. From around waist high. Boom. Not a scratch.

I'm using the full body protection from Xtreme Guard. Currently $10. But if you buy 2 you get %77 off so total is less than $5. Also shipping is free. Then I use the Spigen Crumena leather pouch that was designed for the Galaxy Nexus to carry it around in. It's slim, sleek, and looks great. It also allows me to show off my phone while using it and protect it when I'm not.

I'm using NIllkin flip leather case. Yes, naked is the better way to showcase the beauty of this baby, but I prefer to keep it unscratched especially considering I spent nearly $500 for it...lol

OOT, is there any case (preferably flip leather case) that behave like Apple's Smart Cover which automatically lock/wake the screen? I recall ones used in GS III and Note II also behave the same way. It's quite helpful to avoid constantly pushing the power button. My current flip case failed to do that. Thanks

Right now I'm using this case with this screen protector. I'm loving the screen protector but I just got the case today. I'll see how it goes. Seems like the lip over the screen is a little too high.

P.S. Sorry for bumping this old thread. I thought it was interesting anyway.

EDIT: I decided to only use my case when I'm going somewhere where my phone is in danger. In normal use I won't need my case because the max I could drop it is on my lap or the floor of the car.

The trick is to put the case on right before you drop it.

like most other phones i haven't been using a case full time on my N4.
i put on a case (Rearth Ringke Fusion) when i'm out and at work, and usually it's out of it's case when i'm at home.
i haven't found any case that i like enough to keep on full time.
i'm picking up a bumper so i'll see if i like that enough to keep it on most of the time.

I can confirm that the Seido Active case provides adequate protection against rampaging toddlers. That and its not as bulky as it looks.

I'm getting mine in a week and I plan on going naked when I'm just lounging at home but anytime I'm out and about i'll always have a case on it.
No matter how careful you are there's always a chance you'll crack it and its just too fragile to risk (even if the all glass back does is the best looking/feeling).

Only at when cycling and at training.

Funny, i dropped mine in the dirt a couple of times on a ride last weekend. Glad i have a screen saver on this thing..

Screenprotector on the front and rear glass (Spigen) and a Rearth Rinke Slim case. I'm going for the OEM bumper as soon as I can find one, however.

Yours sincerely,
Brian

It's a must for this fragile phone. I use front and back screen protector and Nillkin sl case.
