I used iris scan just the first day when I was setting most of the stuff up & transferring from my N5, then deleted the scan I saved. Back to PIN after that.

I think I posted this on another topic, but a family member's ex used his fingerprints while he was sleeping to read his texts. Also, law enforcement can technically hold the phone to your face/eyes/finger(s) to gain access. Can't make you "remember" a PIN or password!

FPS & Iris. Use one of them based on how am holding my phone. Both are very consistent.

You swap it? I just use Smart Lock at home so I can swipe to unlock without any extra measures.

Swap? Lol. I just select the swipe. Haven't tried the smart lock. Didn't work with my note 5 very well. Don't mean it won't with note8. Just haven't tried it yet.

Swap as in you swap your security to FP and such when out -- then to swipe at home.

Haha . Smart Lock works pretty well for me. I have an app that pings my GPS once an hour (weather) so usually the Smart Lock catches on. If it doesn't realize I am home I just open up Maps for a few seconds and it catches on.

Yelp not working for me. Google maps keep saying I'm a couple houses down from where I'm actually at.

Sorry I meant to say Google maps says I'm near a couple houses down. My address is only a year old so maybe Google hasn't updated everything yet? Who knows lol. Probably why ups and FedEx look like chickens with their head cut off when they try to find me haha.

Have set up both, but mostly use fingerprint scanner as first option. Iris not the preferred way for me since have to lift up and make sure I look at the scanner etc. With fingerprint most of the time I don't even think unlocks while taking out of pocket etc.
