Are your phone calls (too) loud even at bottom volume setting?

I have had my S21P for a few weeks and for the rare times I use it as a phone, the speaker is loud. I have to turn it all the way down and it's still what I would call loud. On one call, I thought I had the speakerphone on (I didn't). Sometimes, I hold the phone a bit away from my ear.

Is this just how Samsung phones are or is there a setting I am missing?

No, don't have this, although I'm using an ultra.

Sounds like speakerphone might be stuck on... Try toggling it during a call.

Hard of hearing here so I never have this problem.

submit an error report via samsung members when you experience this again (members app > + button > error report)

Just picked up the s21 5g and it's is but for me it's nice to have a nice ear speaker for once.
