Yes I read about that yesterday and I installed HTC Sync ver. 2.0.33 and it supposedly recognized my phone and asked me to name it but after that it keeps saying disconnected like if my phone was not connected to the computer.
Also I read here that another user tried it and all he could do was sync his outlook contacts and whatnot. The app looks different from the one in the link from engadget.
Basically what I want sideloading for is to get some apps that are not on the market like swype.
I wish there was an easier way haha. I heard that rooting might let me sideload but then I have never rooted a phone and dont really know what other things I gain by rooting it.
