Assistant cannot see or control Android TV

Hi everyone,

Few days ago I have picked up TCL P8S Android TV, however I have noticed that after everything is setup , Assistant does not see or able to control my TV, when something is playing Google Home App shows that there is chrome cast device casting something, only lets me control volume and nothing else. Once I stop watching anything it disappears all together.

There is an extensive thread on Google Forums, people are saying that Google disabled that feature until they can issue a fix for some problem, they did not provide any dates on when will that happen.
