ASUS Chromebook 101

Hey guys I need some help , just bought the Asus Chromebook and it won't turn on. I charged it till the color indicator is green and rite to next to that is a light bulb symbol which the light is on , not sure what it is . I unplug the power cable and hold the power button and nothing happens while the bulb icon stays light ? Any help

Did you buy this new or used? Sometimes I have to press the Power button for longer than a couple of seconds, but never too long. I'd suspect a faulty unit.
