Asus nexus 7 tethering issues

Alright guys, I have been browsing for some bit on the internet and I can simple not solve this issue and it makes me go insane !

I have a asus nexus 7 tablet and a huewei honor 6. Both updated to recent updates. I want to connect the 4G fron the phone with my tablet to browse the internet on the tablet while not having anything else nearby. How can I do this please I get a DNS_ PROBE _FINISH error and however it says connected it has no internet.

Hey guys ! Well my tablet worked fine for years. I used it before on an older Samsung mini S3 a few years ago with tethering and it was fine. I use it on wifi at my house everyday and it is fine.

As mentioned it says connected but no internet acces and my tablet when opening internet google chrome gives a DNS PROBE FINISHED error.

No idea if another device can tether to my honor 6.

It might help to see if other devices can tether to your Honor -- if not, then we can narrow the issue down to the phone (and not the tablet).
