Asus Repair information for N7 Broken Screen

Great case for $15. I am so glad I got it. I have the piece of mind knowing if i drop my n7 it'll be protected. After using the magnetic wake/lock I can't go back to without it. Easy to open with one hand, too.

I would be careful getting a case/cover that doesn't protect the corners of the tablet (like the leather one linked above). The glass on mine broke this morning when it fell and struck the corner of the tablet. I've since read several forum threads where people got lucky and it landed flat on the ground and didn't break the glass. The corners are the weak spot, not so much with the flat surfaces.

By the way, thank you guys for all the info in this thread. I'm bummed that it's so expensive to repair. I'm going to try to buy one cheap to replace the screen and sell the rest of the parts to recooperate some of the cost. It seems like the cheapest solution.

The kids somehow just put a nasty spider crack on my 32gb n7. Asus wants me to send it to them so with a little luck i'll qualify for a free repair like the user did in the previous post. Fingers crossed.
