I ordered an open box transformer from newegg and received it yesterday. It is in perfect condition cosmetically, but for some reason there is a small section of the screen, maybe a square inch, that is unresponsive. I wiped everything, and that didn't solve the problem, so I decided I would call asus and try to do a warranty replacement.
I called 888-678-3688, which is their 24/7 support number, according to their website. I went through and picked the asus eeepad from their menu options, and then waited while the phone rang, after which it would hang up. This happened with several tries.
So my question is, does anyone know another number or method I could try to reach asus? Please let me know.
