Asus Transformer Prime First Impressions/Reviews

I have had the TP for a few days now. It came with ICS Preloaded and downloaded a firmware update almost immediately.

I am extremely pleased with this unit. Being an android user for years, currently using a Galaxy Nexus, ICS on this device is a natural.

Performance is outstanding, screen is fantastic. I streamed with YouTube and Netflix, great quality. Battery life seems excellent so far.

The only negative would be that it does not use a standard Mini or Micro USB connector for charging, So I bought an additional adapter so one stays at home and one travels with me.

Where did you get your extra adaptor, tcapote?

I've had my prime for about a week now. It's my first Android device, but I'm finding it easy and fun to use. I'm very glad I opted to get the keyboard. It's almost like the thing has two personalities. I've resisted buying a laptop for thirty years, since my Radio Shack Model 100, and for me the Prime IS exactly what I want in a laptop--extremely portable, but, especially with Polaris Office, usable.
