Makes no sense. iPhone is the best so I'm going to spend money on the Zenfone. Lol okay.

There are multiple versions being sold on amazon and ebay. I would personally wait until they are officially available in the US and make sure you get full warranty and aren't scammed but that's your call.

Thanks. Definitely waiting after checking out the prices. They are charging Nexus 6 like prices for this thing. lol

Best to wait for an official US release now. I was looking at the 4GB model a week or two ago and it was around $370.... now it's upwards of $450 or so.

I don't have mine yet, they are shipping next week so once it arrives I will start to give it a go. Planning on getting a T-Mobile pay as you go SIM for a 30 test run since my GS 6 Edge arrives as well next Friday and I will have running at the same time doing the same things. I did find it interesting that ASUS managed to still get a microSD slot in, though why it says up to 64GB I don't know. I am hoping it would support 128GB cards, but I do have a spare 32GB card and will put stuff like podcasts on it and play those in my car.

The battery has been ok. Im a heavy user, so i find myself looking for a charge around early evening, but i do take phone off charger around 6 am every morning.

The specs you quote are correct. And the phone flies on that processor.ost people will not need the 4GB model, just power users.

problem is it seems that it is getting more and more expensive as time passes... seems the sellers are trying to maximize their profits with the high demand ..and pricing in europe was a bit high as compared to taiwan prices... so everyone selling it is just putting a higher price tag on it now... :(

Once it is officially released in the US, the prices will come down. They can raise prices now because no one can get one in most places in the world currently, especially in the countries that spend the most money. Also, once it is released here, those sellers will have to compete with the official resellers who offer full warranty, guaranteed returns and replacements, and no risk purchases.

I hope so but I don't live in US... .hope the prices go down but US dollar exchange rate is pretty high atm .. so I will have to wait

what other phones did you have? how do they compare to the zenfone 2 720p version in terms of battery life

I will be curious to see how ASUS handles software updates, and how long it will take to get the next 5.x update, will we see 5.1 or will they wait for the next OS. The key issue is the amount of time it takes to make Android OS compatible with so many of an OEM's devices it not simply pushing out some code. They have to implement tweaks and get Carriers to certify then beta test an then roll it out. So we may not see 5.1. What I would like Google to do is not push out the OS half done because some devices will not the incremental updates and may not get the next OS at all.

Keep in mind that i was using my phone for work purposes and was constantly receiving email alerts from Outlook and Gmail. Im not receiving as much email now and im getting better use out of the battery.

I was one of the lucky 15 here at AC to win one of these bad boys. My answer to the question of whether or not I'm getting the ZF2 is a resounding YES! (throws fingers in the air).

I'm interested to see how the battery fares with my usage patterns.

I ordered one off of expansys but I couldn't take the changing of the shipping date. So I just ordered a white 720p version on ebay. I am really excited about this phone for many reasons. I have a nexus 5 right now and love the nexus line but the battery life is absolutely terrible. I could care less about 1080p for a 5.5" device cause I will never see the difference and hopefully the battery life will make up for it since I use my phone a lot for browsing the web and other small tasks during the day. I will see though when I get it.

congrats that's awesome! this is such a cool contest to win to.
