AT&T 2.20 One X root/unlock timetable?

I upgraded my firmware to 2.20, thinking I could still root.. Well that was dumb.

Also, I have never rooted before, purely a noob but willing to learn.

Are any of the devs/hackers working on this? Seems like AT&T will never allow the bootloader to be unlocked.

*sigh* I myself Own an AT&T One X and I wanted to root it badly.....Grr damndable crap they put on on it that clogs up my space and not being able to use certain softwares. But alas it may be a few months to a year or so before we will be able to root. The best explanation I found came from AT&T Htc one x 4.0.4 root help please - xda-developers.

That is why you do not see a root method posted here because the bootloader has not yet been correctly accessed for rooting, and it will either take some time to do so....or I even fear that it could be impossible.
