AT&T Comparison: Nexus 4 w/ HSPA+ vs. Phone w/ LTE?

I'm in NYC and get roughly 25-30 Kbps on both my LTE devices . I'm really interested in seeing how the N4 would perform, I'm guessing with at&t it would be comparable to data speeds that the iPhone 4S was getting out here, which was about 2-5 Kbps on the average. Which isn't terrible but is a huge step back.

What I want to see is how the N4 speeds are on at&t's HSPA+ vs Tmobile's. If TMO is that much faster I'll switch one of my lines over and go that route.

I am sure you meant Mbps!

In my living room an iPhone 5 pulls 22Mbps and my Nexus 4 pulls a sad 1.2Mbps. I'm disappointed. I love the Nexus 4 but would rather have the iPhone 5 with LTE.

SIGH..... I find this sad how out dated all this info now is.... I am getting 10-14 MB on AT&T HSPA+ 21 haha... Plenty of speed for me, I don't see a difference in speeds between my nexus 4 and my bro's S4. This network is now free once people hopped on LTE..... I am a happy camper...
Suburbs...... Don't worry about it future nexus 4 owners... Or get a nexus 5 now.....

P.S Nexus 4 does have LTE, On band 4.... which you can use on t-mobile LTE (with some tweaking... check xda) At&t also has band 4 LTE but only in Los Angeles, Pheonix, and a few others.:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D

I live in the chicago suburbs which is a pretty well developed area. We have excellent HSPA+ network. My hspa+ and LTE speeds are almost identical. LTE also drains significantly more battery, so I don't find it to be worth using.
