AT&T Deals w/Purchase of S7 Active

You can always call ATT customer service & ask. Though am going to guess that ATT is going to say if you would like a current deal, it will have to be on a current plan. So you will have to give up the old family plan for the bogo offer. Again, just guessing.

Sorry. I should have added a few more details. I called ATT customer retention dept three times now to try and get clarification. Last night the guy was nice but didnt think I could do the deal without ditching my data plan. Today, first call, lady said I could add a line and then cancel after 45 days, then said BOGO was expired so nothing I could do. Third call later today said BOGO still available but I had to add third line and keep it open for the life of the phone.
Bummer is I have been on ATT/Cingular/ATT since 1998 and the current trend doesn't reward loyalty at all. All about creating new lines and luring in new customers. Very short term thinking if you ask me but thats the way it is..
Anyways, I really like the S7A and will probably get it at some point. Just frustrated with ATT at the moment.

Agree with the not rewarding loyalty. Many business are running that way where they will spend a mint on a new customer but nothing for long term customers. I was the lowest of the low when I walked in and dropped $861 for my S7 Active. At least the sales rep was nice with her Eastern European accent.

I just got the S7 Active and did the same math.

The "free" Gear watch requires a $10/month adder to your bill and a 2 year commitment. That's $240. Plus a $45 activation fee. That's $285. More than the watch costs.

The deals should really be called "deals for people who cannot do math."

Same here.

Where did you see $45 activation fee? and the $10/mo is for data, which you would pay anyway if you bought the phone outright and wanted to activate the numberSync (which is freaking cool if you ask me)

I just bought one cash outright eight days ago and got nothing except the phone and the contents of the box! I wasn't looking for anything but just to answer your question, no deals at the moment!
