AT&T Galaxy S3 - rooting s3 4.3

I did try odin 3.0.7 with the clockwolrd mod the super user app shows up on my phone whenever I click it it says it has failed but nothing else is wrong with my phone

I'm running the latest Quantum rom 4.4.2, and it's smooth as glass. Easy to download, and it's all good.:D

I ve tried both and all I get is the app but every time it just says it doesn't work but both times the app showed up. Do I need to wipe davlik cache

Hi, I have a big problem. I am running Kitkat 4.4.2, while setting up Supersu, I lost root. How can I recover root. I have TWRP 2.6.3.1. I would greatly appreciate any help.

If you can get into recovery mode, wipe cache and redownload 4.4.2 zip and gapps.:)

I can't get into recovery. It tries to install script then reboots. I can't stop it.

I was able to root with cf autoroot but i used odin 1.85 i think and it worked like a charm. Was able to disable knox and now am running cm 10.2 with no problems

I literally just used the Auto-CF to root a knox'd 4.3 ATT S3 Phone :D.

It took all of a half minute. I was worried when I first started reading this thread.

Hi all, I'm new to rooting and am trying to root my atnt s3. It has 4.3 and has never been rooted before. Is there anyway to bypass Knox? I see some have had success using CF and Odin 3.07, will this work even if I've never rooted the phone before. Sorry for noob question.

If you upgraded to 4.3 and your bootloader is locked, you can potentially brick your device using CF. The CF page warns you of this right underneath the instructions for using with Odin. Honestly, I'm afraid to try it at the moment. My device status says that it is rooted, but the Samsung software prevents things like Superuser from having access.

Ok, I gave in to my curiosity and went for it. It worked in Odin, did the reboot successfully, then when it booted up, the Samsung software still blocked Superuser.

I'm having the same issue with my SGH-1747. I had never rooted before and I have no way to get SuperSu to open after installing via Odin.
