So my Bluetooth between my sgs4 and uconnect in my '12 town and country has worked great....until my phone upgraded to 4.3!!! Even factory reset without any luck! Is there a way to go back to 4.2? 4.3 is nothing but issues and now that everywhere is handsfree and I'm always in my car this is a huge issue.

Re: Bluetooth and uconnect

OK did you make it visible? And enter the town and country into pairing mode then press scan?

Re: Bluetooth and uconnect

Did you press scan? And make sure the box is checked to make it visible? Make it visible then press scan while you have u connect in pairing mode it doesn't automatically scan if that doesn't work make sure other bluetooth devices can connect to the gs 4 and the u connect

Re: Bluetooth and uconnect

Yes I pressed scan. I know how work bkuetootj. This phone has worked with uconnect since July. It stopped since 4.3 update. Is there a way to revert back to 4.2

Re: Bluetooth and uconnect

My suggestion to you is to simply go to a best buy and simply ask for a samsung experience consultant and re flash the 4.3 update and you might want to download Kies and go to a computer and back everything up then do a system restore
WARNING BACK EVERYTHING UP BEFORE YOU SYSTEM RESTORE IT WILL WIPE EVERYTHING THAT NOT ON THE EXTERNAL SD CARD

Re: Bluetooth and uconnect

mine too. please let me know if you have a solution. uconnect really needs to keep up with android updates!

Re: Bluetooth and uconnect

Could simply be the u connect is running a different version of bluetooth and the gs4 isn't backwards compatible

must have unlocked boot loaders!!

Re: Bluetooth and uconnect

Is there a way to update UConnect? I have a Ford and Sync is user upgradable.

Re: Bluetooth and uconnect

That's a very good question from what I can tell the u connect is actually Linux powered so it should be plug and play I could be wrong

The next best thing I can say is to get a cheap auxiliary cable if you have the port built in

Re: Bluetooth and uconnect

There a few issues with several Samsung phones that have updated from 4.2.xx to 4.3 & also 4.4.x. The phones cant place an outgoing call correctly. Uconnect will give a voice prompt that "call is completed" but the call will be active on the phone itself. Samsung is aware of this and are working on this issue as well as a few others. They're expecting an update to be released in late June - mid July.

Re: Bluetooth and uconnect

I just got my S4 today and set it up for Straight Talk. I went out to the car and tried the voice texting feature and it works both sending and receiving. It has Kit Kat 4.4.2.

My Samsung Note4 is having the exact issues described with not being able to make calls. I have the most updated UConnect version and Android 4.4.4.

I can receive calls but while making a call it makes the call, and after one ring it disconnects call. A few times it connected but my phone was not connected but the recipient got dead air on their end.

How do you know Samsung is working on it? How does anyone recommend I contact Samsung to follow up. I am a road sales rep and it is crippling my productivity. Thank
