AT&T Galaxy S4 (I337): hung on boot logo. Help

Tried to go from root to stock and tried to update. I have tried Odin and i get a red fail light. Changed usb cords, reinstalled drivers. By the way it was rooted with safestrap if that matters. It will go to down load mode and recovery. It was on 4.2.2 before in locked up. It will turn off but will turn itself back on. I have tried several different roms, but nothing has worked so far. Thought I knew a little bit but guess not. I am stumped.

Dude if you were on 4.2.2 why the he'll would you do an official update? And not flash a custom recovery with lokidoki patch

And if your able to get to down load mode your soft bricked not a big deal if you didn't upgrade the boot loader if your still on the 4.2.2 boot loader do this download a flashable clock work mod with the loki doki patch once flashed reboot into recovery adb push the Google play rom and enjoy then if you want you can flash a stock rom

MF3 is also 4.2.2. He said he was safestrapped, therefore, he was on MF3, not MDL. Lokidoki does not work on MF3 and neither do kitkat roms. He needs to flash a stock MF3 or an MK2 odin tar. Seems to me like he is trying to flash MDL, hence the fail in odin.
