AT&T Galaxy S4: KitKat bugs

I've noticed that since the update I've lost the ability to change brightness in the status bar. Whenever I enable it it just doesn't show up. I have also noticed that nova launcher seems to be a bit buggy after the update...

Not really sure you can call these " bugs ". We've seen similar with the HTC One Kit Kat update where they removed options on the lockscreen. The option is still there in the Settings but its greyed out. Not too sure if were to point fingers at Google or the OEM's for leaving some of these " disabled " features behind to tease us.

As for Nova launcher, that would be fault of the developer(s) of Nova and not necessarily Google or Samsung w/ KitKat.

I have an AT&T S4 and am not experiencing any of the issues you describe. I use Nova Launcher as well and it's running just as smooth on Kitkat as it did on Jellybean for me.

The main issue that I'm seeing is upon hearing a notification arrive the phone does not come on after pressing either wake up button. It takes several minutes to unfreeze and wake up. Anyone else seeing that?
