You need to select Google calendar inside the calendar app itself. You have the choice of Samsung, AT&T and Google calendars. You can choose all three or just one. Select Google & deselect the others.

I was trying to unlock my AT&T phone by logging into the service mode. I entered UMTS -->Debug Screen --> Phone control --> Network Lock --> PERSO SHA256 OFF --> After I enter the menu, I see SHA256_Enable_Flag [0]. ( Line 2) SHA256_OFF--> Not change. I waited for 30 seconds to press home button and opted for back menu. So, here is the problem. Most of the videos I watched, everything went right till the last step I just described. But then there is an option " Nw Lock NV Data Initillzn" that shows up in these videos but not on my phone. I guess for this reason I could not successfully unlock my AT&T phone. Any suggestions??

You should be able to request an unlock code from AT&T either through their chat or email system. I received mine right in the chat and followed their instructions and now it's unlocked. I still haven't had a chance to try another SIM card, but I followed their instructions and everything went smoothly. However, before I did their way I did follow the way on xda and I was able to get it that way. It was so long ago that I don't remember the details though, sorry.

They plainly refused saying, it used to be their policy but now we need to put in an online request (which I did) and it may be approved based on a bunch of criteria. All of this is going to take time and I am planning to leave next week. However, I tried to root my SGH I747 4.3 version using safe root on mac in one attempt! Lucky me! So, the super user is installed and I can install titanium back up (which needs root access) which confirmed that my phone was properly rooted! I have been reading a lot about unlocking this AT&T 4.3 version on I747, apparently, its a pain for many of the users. You cannot unlock it by entering in the service mode (only for 4.1.2 or 4.1.1) so the only two possible options are to either ask a third party or as the forums say, downgrade to 4.1.1 and then unlock it. I paid money on of the service sites and even they could not find a code for my phone. I am super paranoid about downgrading ( as I think I might run into the risk of bricking). How to I proceed this entire thing? Please help. Also, if I missed out on any information about my phone or rooting process, feel free to ask but I need help with this unlocking process.

When I put in my request I got it within 2 days. I just don't know if the unlock code is the same or if it's IMEI specific. If you've met the requirements on their website, then by law they have to give you the unlock code. So if you've met the requirements, don't worry. You'll get the code in a day or two.

HI I requested the code and they denied it saying I have not completed the contract (which they are right but I need this unlock for a short trip). Any suggestions? I have already rooted my phone.

For those trying to carrier unlock their phones, call AT&T International, not the local number. I bought my phone when it first came out in July, I called several months later to the international group, I told them I was traveling to Germany, they gave me the unlock code. Took about 10 minutes. They tried to sell me AT&T International rates, but I declined.

Got the uploading photo over and over .......
Got the flash going off every time I receive a call
All my sounds have changed for everything, phone calls, alarms, text messages not one sound is what it was before.

This is all driving me crazy!

So my lock screen shortcuts carried over from my previous install. However, the camera shortcut (holding down on the lock screen and rotating the phone) is no longer working, and the settings menu no longer has an option to change the lock screen shortcuts. Looks like they left something out.

I am having the same problem and I liked having the camera shortcut on my lock screen.

So two things I've noticed with this update: 1) when i try to share a picture directly from the gallery with the "share" button, it says "unfortunately, gallery has stopped" and reverts back to the previous screen. 2) when i try to create/add someone to a group, it does the same thing.

i noticed someone had the same trouble with the group thing, and said he just fixed it with a factory reset. does anyone else have a less tedious solution or is this the only way?

Performing a Factory Reset after an OTA is usually a good idea regardless of whether you're having problems, but that's your call.

There are a couple of things you can try:
- reboot into Recovery mode and clear the system cache (quick and painless with no data loss)
- go to Settings -> More (if using the Tab view) -> Application manager -> press the Menu button -> select Reset app preferences (this will set back to default all of the app selections [ex. choosing the Chrome browser rather than the Internet browser as your default] that you've made; it also re-enables any apps that you may have disabled)
