At&t group messaging with the stock app?

Well I had an HTC Inspire with AT&T for quite awhile and really liked it but knew it was time for an upgrade soon and then dropped it in the ocean...so it was time. Thing was every one else in the family had gone to iPhones and had the group messaging. I was using Handscent, which I liked ok and after updating it just before dropping phone in ocean they had added Group messaging option. So I told my son to suck it...I didn't want an iPhone and now that I could do group messaging with them that was the only thing making me lean toward the iPhone. So I got the LG G2, liked the size, camera, just about everything about it and it was cheaper than the HTC One I wanted. Of course no Group messaging again. And I like the look of the native messaging app on the G2 but installed Handscent so I could get group messaging back...but it still doesn't work. So I've got to say this is an AT&T/LG thing together. Anyway thanks for the tip on Textra. I'm going to give it a try.

I was very disappointed when I found out my LG G2 did not have any group text. I have been using a program for about a year and for me I love it and it lets you group text right from your computer. It is called AirDroid, Its like have you phone on your computer screen. I have been using the free version and it does everything I need it to. Hope this helps!

The Samsung Note 1 has no group msging either, and oh man pisses you right off. Does Textra work good? I was looking into getting it. Thanks so much!

Textra works great... imo it's the best one out there and currently using it.

i believe though group messaging was working with the last kitkat update. i believe i tried it but still didnt like the ui over textra and went back to textra.
