Anyone have a method to get an AT&T m7 to run as a mobile hotspot for t-mobile?

Running Android 5.02, Sense 6

Unlock it, get a TMobile tethering account and put the SIM in. The AT&T version has bands 4 and 17 for LTE, so it should work on TMobile. (Without a tethering account, TMobile may or may not block tethered connections. I know Verizon does.)

No. Tethering doesn't work. I do have a tether allotment with my unlimited data plan. Data is working fine- every thing works fine, except mobile hotspot. I saw some old threads on XDA about installing a t-mobile ruu or rom but all of that was jelly bean, and only certain versions of jellybean. Just looking for an updated process that works with 5.02 and sense 6.......
