AT&T M8's to get "extreme power savings" update this week!

My phone updated and I see the extreme power savings mode, it also appears to have cleared up an issue with opening pictures inside text messages and the screen dimming for me

It also seemed to add high performance mode. Finally.

You noticed the high performance feature in dev. options? I thought maybe I missed it, and turned it on. It's blazing fast, and I notice it will disable both power saveing modes. I have so far used the super saver for when my phone is in standby, and it just DOESN'T move. It's been at 98% for about three hours or so, albeit I have a tablet and a second line. Still, I use the heck out of the M8.

I have the update, but it didn't tell me what it updated...
I'll never use the power saver and I'm wanting to know if there's any other changes in this update.

Edit; oh joy, I see they spammed me with a FitBit app which I can't uninstall. What irritates me even more is that my wife heard me complain about it and is going to be using my phone now because she can't run fitbit on hers.

Anyone know if this affects the ability to root and S-Off in any way? Haven't rooted yet but definitely plan to. Haven't installed the update due to this yet.

They release updates in sections across the country, so as not to clog their network with mass downloads. They've been doing this for some time now, just be patient it will come
