Went to an AT&T store to ask if we were going to receive the value pack update the international version got. He rep said to be honest with you probably not going to happen you will be lucky to see 4.2.2 update. And then he went off to say they don't sell many of this and there focus is on iphones HTC ones and s4 phones. I love this phone how it is. 4.1.2 is good enough for me. Any thoughts on this? Plus they don't have hardly and accessories for this phone either. I traded my s4 for this phone. Not looking back. :)

You probably won't see much difference between 4.1 and 4.2. It is a shame that the device isn't even a year old, and AT&T has dropped it, I looked at the sister phone for Sprint, and I liked it. It seems like a solid device.

It does suck they did. And well its only on one carrier. So that's why there is not much accessories For it anywhere. Just cheap eBay cases. Still a solid device tho.

Yeah, a marble-sized grain of salt. We have to remember, Samsung fans are as bad as iPhone fanboys these days in their effort to prove themselves as top of the heap. To the point of willingly spreading misinformation and propaganda. Every AT&T rep I've talked to loves the OGP.

They may like the of pro but there minds are else were like the s4 and HTC one. When I first went to look for a phone this was never mentioned I guess its based on what store you go to and your location and rep. But it seemed like he was pretty truthful. Most would say yes we will update it support it just wait and be patient. This guy was strait up.

How ANYONE could play with LG OG Pro and then opt for the Note is beyond me, the Note 2 was great when there wasn't a competitor to it, but now, just the feel in the hand alone makes it a winner over Note 2, and when you experience the lightening performance, the responsive screen, the 32GB internal and the price, you'd have to be NUTZ to opt for Note II... BUT, somehow, many do....(i guess most are in the, "oooh, a stylus that i'll NEVER use" camp..lol)

Hopefully with the "half price firesale" they have been having, it will introduce a whole new wave of LG OG Pro owners and it will cease to be "the best kept secret Android phone" out there and start getting the respect and attn it deserves... (Unlikely, but hopefully...:-*)

I hope your right Phil, All my (Fellow Phone Junkie Friends) said to stay with Samsung, but it was such a great phone that i followed the road less traveled by and went with LG.
Hopping they don't let us down with the updates.

Let's take this with a grain of salt here, folks.

Seriously, how often are AT&T employees right? or wireless store employees in general!? One should look over at the at&t community forums and if you have time to research, see how many predictions are made versus them actually happening lol

When a rep says updates are coming and predict that you take that with a grain of salt. When they say the phone is at the bottom and there focused on other phones like the s4 HTC one and even the iPhone 5 don't count on much support. That's a little more believable.

I remember the lgog got an update within a few months of being out. I wouldn't be to worried about it tho.

from what ever phone I feel like using today.

I agree or would suck but this phone is great I was not a fan of big phones until I got this one awesome I hope att supports it

Nothing really needs fixing. People just like updates feels like we are supported when we do. My first pro overheated a lot but I traded it in for a new one. Problem solved. Its just nice to have the latest version of android. Even if its an incremental Update like 4.1.2 to 4.2.2.

and it would be nice to get that value pack update that the International Version got as well

Didn't the carriers make a deal with Google that they would update their phones within a certain time period to keep them current?

I don't understand. What needs fixing on the phone that we need updates?

It would be nice to have a few of the newer features like Google Now, the updated camera app, security updates, etc.

But if I was deeply concerned about that, I would have gone nexus.
