Just switch to manually set date/time and roll the date up, works like a charm and no more waiting
I have an unlocked Note 8 on ATT. Will I get that update or a different one?
You'd get the update for the unlocked model, not ATT's. Furthermore, you only get it when it rolls out to the region the model was intended to (so, if you have a Brazilian unlocked model in the US and the update hits the US unlocked model, you won't get until the update hits Brazil).
Just installed the update on my sprint note 8 hopefully the volte works
Where can I download Action Memo?
They're not remotely close in functionality. S Note, and its Action Memo component are feature rich productivity tools. Samsung Notes is basically a scratch pad for notes, drawing and doodling. You know action memo is basically part of the new S Notes right? If you have a phone number, web address, email etc in a note you just hover over it with the s-pen and it'll give you the action according to what it is.
Not sure why people are still side loading the old apk.

There are many videos on YouTube showing its features as far back as I believe for all Notes. Check them out, you may end up liking it![]()
When the Nougat update came for my Note 5, it included an update to a "newer" version of S Note. Some of its features were removed. There was no way to uninstall the update and side load an older version. That's why I'm now leary of ANY updates.
Yeah, if you allow Play Store to update S Note (or Samsung Notes) it will wipe out the sideloaded version of Action Memo if you just went through the trouble of installing that! So make damned sure you turn OFF "Auto Update" on S-Note!
I had it off everywhere. That wasn't when it updated. I guess it somehow was built into the Nougat OS upgrade/update. And it was then uninstallable (normally you can uninstall the updates). It wasn't with a version that removed Action Memo, but some other S Note features. That's why I'm paranoid now, lol!
