Please tell me Pie hasn't taken away the ability to schedule a text. I use that all the time. Where did it go?!

Your photo didn't embed and the link doesn't lead to it.

I don't have a (+) for that. Mine is to add an attachment. This is in my menu when I tap my 3 dots.

The pulse app is a good work around if that function really is gone.

AHA! It's there AFTER I go into the menu of the + ! I misunderstood. Thank you for that. Once I saw the photos to attach, I moved on from that area. I'd have never found it because I immediately looked for another app!

The first time I hit the plus, my photo gallery came up to attach to the text. I didn't even notice the dots! All is right in my small tech world

I see it's easier to share info via text... Like sharing a contact. Nice!

I solved the mystery of missing data/wifi/battery indicators in the top right corner.

If you haven't already done so, you need to go into the Galaxy App store and install an app from Samsung called Good Lock. Once you install it, then you need to open it and install all of the various add ons/plug ins associated with it. There's definitely a solid Xzibit meme here - "Yo dawg, I heard you like installing things...." After that, it's pretty simple. First 4 images are step by step to walk you through.

Here is what makes absolutely no sense though. I managed to find within the phone settings, some toggles for these very same things....except only a couple of them actually work. Those are illustrated with the last 2 screenshots. Should also not that those screenshots are taken from 2 entirely different sections of the settings.

First one: (Status Bar Info) is Settings/Accessibility/Screen Reader/Settings/Status Bar Info

You can clearly see that even though Date/Battery/Signal are toggled on, they aren't displaying. For some stupid reason, this is why you need the Goodlock app.

Second one: (Status Bar) is Notifications/Status Bar.

Showing battery % seems to be the only thing that actually worked before installing Goodlock.

Have to say I like the update , no issues at all , phone feels fresh visually , battery life is a lot better for me , I really like dark mode ( sunset to sunrise )

Same here. We have an S8+ and an S9+, the S8 got the update a week ago. My S9 still has no update available. >.>

I was prompted to update yesterday but my wife's Note8 didn't prompt her. When I checked to see what OS she has it still shows 7.1.1 (Nougat)!??? I called Samsung and they suggested taking her phone to the Samsung store where they can manually force the update since she's not getting it over the air.

So far I like the update...

I like the update. Made my Note8 like a new one. Dark mode is great. Now I don't have to DL 3rd party themes

I can't seem to get the update either, but my husband did. Did you ever get your wife's to update?

Still not liking Pie. All my custom Bixby commands were deleted and Bixby doesn't seem to be much better than before.

Most annoying thing so far though is that I have to tap/slide to answer and reject calls. Went into phone settings and couldn't find an option to change it back so that I could just tap it. Did this go away or has the setting been moved for some stupid reason?
