Not sure, I am not a current customer so I can't say. But that would be kind of stupid wouldn't it I mean a sale is a sale and you want to sell as many pre-orders as you can to beef up early sales. But anything goes with US carriers these days.

where did you hear they wont allow current customers to preorder? i brought my unlocked note2 over to at&t when i signed up a month ago so they better let me preorder. if not best buy gets my business.

It's really killing me, wiped my outgoing iPhone so I am on a flip phone with my iPad as my backup mobile device. Can't wait to get the GS4.

I have preordered several phones with att as an existing customer, Including the S3 in June 2012 and Note 2 in November 2012.

Im in the same boat. Sold my s2 to put towards the s4. back on my old qwerty dumb phone. And my upgrade is in 2 months. Itll be worth it tho

First full day on the flip phone, and man does it suck. My iP5 is shipping out tomorrow (got it sold quick enough) and now I will have my money safely waiting for pre-order next week
