AT&T release date????

Jump on those pre-orders the second you see them, a reliable source predicts there will be a major shortage due to problems manufacturing the camera.

I heard that too earlier today as well. A lot of sources has been saying it has to do with the Voice Module and the Camera Module. I wonder what that means for us in the states. Oh yeah, we may be still the firsts one to get our hands on the HTC One due to the fact that HTC is targeting us first in the US for carriers like AT&T, T-Mobile, and Sprint. Most likely if that doesn't happen, AT&T and the two other Major Carriers has spent all the time getting ready for a huge stock of phones to come in but now it seems that HTC will be able to send 800,000 -1,200,000 units of devices globally. That only means its going to be harder for us to get our hands on it in many stores where its going to be sold at including stores like Radio Shack. Other global carriers won't even see the new One probably til May. This whole situation gives an advantage for Blackberry to sell there new Z10 at AT&T on March 22nd. This whole situation was spotted today, but take it with a grain of salt. There still possibility to see it in stores on March 22nd at AT&T, but you must keep your eye on att.com to see whether HTC will have the phone for pre-orders on the 15th. I wonder what HTC will do if the phone is launched at the beginning of April, what will have to the $100 Visa deal? I will keep you guys posted.

I pre ordered the Skinomi screen and back protector from Amazon. Amazon said the screen protector would be shipped on April 8th. I hope that is not the release date for the US.

Obviously not if the phone is coming out in March. ..

It only says that because its being shipped from the United Kingdom, no one in the US as far as I know has gotten enough or any accessories to sell on Amazon yet. We have to listen out, or look up day by day to see whether there's going to be any changes with the shipment yet. As far as I know, HTC is trying to at least get the new One shipped in the US since we have such a big market, as well trying to get them in the Canadian Carriers since a lot of people have already have gave up there money for pre ordering the phone. A store called Negri Electronics said that they've guesstimate that the HTC One will being shipping to everyone who had pre ordered the phone on there sight on March 16th.

D: The singapore launch was cancelled last minute and is now delayed till may, crap I'm really hoping ATT will get a decent amount, and I may have to risk getting in stores because I'm going on vacation the week of the 24th...

I am not sure you can order off contract on the AT&T web page. It usually tells you to go to a corporate store.

Well then ill call the store and see if I could buy off contract in store. Im sure i should have no problem if i go early like 10 am.

You shouldn't but have an issue buying no contract in store like I'm doing. All I'm trying to find out is whether AT&T prices the 32GB Model at $549 and the 64GB model at $649 which would make a lot of sense that they do so, so then I can walk up in the store and buy it right out. That's why I'm constantly on there sight because I'm curious about there pricing, but it sounds all accurate because since the HTC One X+ came out in November, the 64GB phone has been priced at $549. Remember that it has 1GB of Ram so, just overlooking all there high end smart phones from the beginning and now, all phones have been sold at the price at $549. The fact that HTC has two variants makes sense for the 64GB one to be sold the same price as the Galaxy Note II at $649. I hope it's not priced like the iPhone 5 where the 16GB is $649, 32GB $749, and the 64GB at $849. thats where I'd just choose the One X+

I was just on start.sense.com and there is an HTC One for sprint and t mobile but not for AT&T. Not reporting that the sky is falling and I hope AT&T shows up soon.

Never mind I just remember reading that AT&T doesn't use this web page. Too bad it would have been nice to get a jump on setting up the phone.

If I upgrade from my HTC Vivid (AT&T) I'm assuming I'll see a noticeable difference? I'm due for an upgrade in September...get the One or the GS4?

Yes definitely lmao one

I just spoke with Best Buy. They said they have their signage, and preorders will start on the 13th. Hope it's true.

I realize this probably belongs in the "carrier" section of the forums and I hate to jack someone's thread but it's way more lively over here and it's still on topic I think. I am coming from Verizon to AT&T. I have just been waiting for a phone I really want. Because I don't have an existing AT&T line to place a pre-order on I have to rely on a physical store. The closest store to me is exactly one hour away. Now I don't really have a problem taking the day off, putting some booze in my coffee and making a day of it........my question is can I be 100% certain that the AT&T store will have at least one ONE. The store I speak of is no joke really, it's pretty big. Having said that, I'm pretty confident I'd be the only person standing there if I get there a half hour before they open.

In all my years of cell phone ownership, aside from my first Qualcomm branded phone, I have never physically purchased a phone in a store. I really have no idea the type of stock a store would typically have at launch. Of course I realize that every phone launch is different and there are rumors of a shortage on this phone........so I guess the meat and potatoes of my question is whether most every store gets at least a couple or if there really was a shortage would they give more to the online sector and leave certain stores dry completely? Thanks for reading all this and throwing a bone if you can. I'll call the store as it gets closer but I need some peace of mind. The only other option is to port my number NOW to an unused AT&T phone but I honestly don't know anyone with an extra phone laying around.....

I'm leaning towards the htc one. I'm waiting to see what the s4 looks like. I hope this releases next weekend. I also see AT&T will offer a 64gb model, that's awesome. Anybody have an idea on off contract pricing? I assume close to $600.

Called both Bestbuy and the AT&T store, and they both had no information regarding preorder or launch dates.
