I'm sure there aren't many people coming in and asking about it. I haven't seen ads anywhere so the average consumer isn't going to know the phone is coming (and slowly at that haha).

Well just got the dreaded email from HTC President... March date not happening... hopefully expect early April. I will know more on Monday as a good friend of mine is a manager for AT&T... HTC is dropping the ball big time on this one... if only I had other options, no apple fanboi, no last year model motorola, not impress with s4 and its cool sounding octo-processor( aka serious battery drain), no note2 aka mini tablet, prefer the sony z tablet over phone, did i forget anything? im open to suggestions?
Absolutely terrible for HTC.. literally the worst thing that could happen right now in terms of matching close to the S4.. which IMO isnt much different from the S3. Anyways they better work with the US carriers to set up a release date that way they can get that date to us (the consumers) and they can start marketing pre orders and release dates all over the place! If they can get that boomsound ad on tv soon they can get some real market presence

Yeah, I got the same letter. What sucks is that it still gives no date and worse it says by the "end of April" which probably means April 26. The last Friday of the month.
That could mean April 5th or April 26th...nobody knows...26th is still April and isn't the end of it bro.
They need to get this phone out the first week of April to kill some of the s4 buzz this was the time to release it while they have Samsung beat and before people start seeing galaxy s4 posters and ads,commercials all over the place because even though they know about the HTC one the s4 will be in everybodys mind because of all the marketing.
Exactly. We could be looking at end of April but they said before end of april so that could be the 5th through the 26th i just hope we get a date from the carriers soon
End of April to me means last half. If they thought it would be earlier, they would have said first half of April.

Thats exactly what i have been saying! If anything they should have launched in the US first as one of their select markets. If it doesnt come before mid April then they are doomed by the S4 unless they can get some substantial advertising out showing why people would need the htc one more the any other phone (BoomSound ad comes to mind)
Yes but they said before the end of april. not the end of april. thats like me going to a party that starts at 4 and saying ill be there before 7 and showing up at 430. Sure, it implies that i will be showing up close to 7 but it doesnt mean i HAVE to be there at 7

Very true worst case scenario would definitely be April 26th but hopefully it does not come to that
