Ok now that most have got 4.3 update. How long do you think it will be before KitKat rolls out to S4 users. Everything I have read shows KitKat is a very stable platform, that uses a lot less memory to run. It will work on many different devices and has a lot of new features. KitKat runs on my Nexus 7 tablet and it is awsome.

The thing is that S4 is not built for 4.4 so I don't see it running well with it. It's going to drain the battery quickkk.

What is it missing. 4.4 uses less memory. Processor is fast in S4. Screen is compatible. What is S4 missing ?

You have no idea what you're talking about. There are much less capable devices slated to get KitKat.

Honestly though, these threads are annoying. They pure speculation, nobody knows. We get it when we're get it. There are a small around of people that actually care regarding updates and Samsung and AT&T know this. Considering they've already botched the 4.3 update, they can take their time as far as I'm concerned.

Read the article linked. .
Noticed it referred to the International S4 ..no mention of the SGH 1337 flavor. ?.

Well the International version started getting the 4.3 update rolling out about a month before the 1337 version. So perhaps the same will occur with 4.4. Jan/Feb time frame.

I think you need to get 4.3 before you get 4.4. You might need to manually update your phone to 4.3 using Odin and you should get the 4.4 update after that. That's what I had to do.

Yes its an incremental update to add on to the 4.3 no 4.3 no 4.4

must have unlocked boot loaders!!
