Ever since I opened up and cleaned the SIM card contacts, it hasn't happen again.
Ok, thanks. I'll give it a try and see how it goes. What did you clean it with?
Ever since I opened up and cleaned the SIM card contacts, it hasn't happen again.
Don't do what I did: I used a nail sander from my wife's nail care kit to sand the contacts on the SIM card, not the watch. The design of the SIM card holder is flawed. The place where the card and watch contact pins meet has very little pressure to make sure they stay firmly contacted.
So put a little extra thickness (very little) on the exposed part of the SIM or on the pad.
Just curious, but is anyone using trimmed mini/micro sims instead of actual nano sims? Maybe the extra thickness could fix the problem?
