AT&T to Xfinity Mobile

Anyone have any experience with unlocking your S8/S8+ via AT&T device unlock webpage and moving it to Xfinity Mobile?

With the recent increase in my plan, I can go from a shared 30GB plan on 4 lines to unlimited on all lines for less.

Since Xfinity uses Verizon as the carrier, it should work. (The US variant of the S8.8+ supports CDMA.)

So I pulled the trigger on this today. It went very smoothly. Since I own my phones outright I got them unlocked. Went to Xfinity store and had all four lines switched within an hour. I did make an appointment as well.

So far so good. The biggest improvement is at my parents house where they are in an AT&T dead spot.

Forgot to mention that once the new sim was put in, all the AT&T bloatware was uninstalled.

I made the same switch six months ago. No problems at all. 47 a month for unlimited everything is nice. I was on old att data plan from 20 years ago.
