What is NK3 cause I'm on ATT and notta. No up date here in South Carolina.

Downloading now... cool. Screenshots as I get them as needed.

p.s. I had to change the system date/time forward to force a check for software update. I last checked this morning, and it makes you wait 24 hrs between tries. Also Keis wasn't showing the update as of now.

IDK what it is, but mine is updating now. AT&T, San Antonio, TX.

Not to be a jerk but it makes zero difference if you're in San Antonio, Kenya, Liechtenstein, fat, skinny, alcoholic, or blonde.

I understand, but another poster said they are in SC, and no update yet. Sorry.

NK3 is the baseband version and the latest update from samung released about 2 weeks ago. It will be rolled out in stages so you may not get it right away..

What does this update do?

There is no change log... however I have noticed that the recent apps button is quicker, though still a bit laggy. There is an animation change when you load it up, so clearly it was worked on. I also see evernote is baked into the system as bloatware. I would imagine that it has the international tweaks added to it, liek improved battery life, and the Gear VR software (I can vouch for those being there)

So I downloaded the update while I was on my lunch break and clicked to restart the phone to do the install. I had to go back to work while the phone reset, so I put it in my pocket and forgot about it. about 15 - 20 minutes later I am sitting at my desk and all of a sudden the side of my leg starts getting uncomfortably hot. I reach in and my phone is abnormally hot.

anyone else experience anything like this? Is this normal?

No, sounds like the update didn't take right, if you reboot, it should either revert, or restart the update.

Good question...still 4.4.4. I did get it tho. Had to change date like previous poster advised.

This is a firmware update, not an OS update. While it is still 4.4.4 Samsung has made tweaks to their implementation. Of course AT&T no doubt also made tweaks to it too.

OK. One thing I found is open and app...drag from either top corner diagonally and it makes that window smaller...like a dual screen

This is not new... sorry. It however doesn't do it on all programs.
