AT&TNote 3 - Friday, September 27th @ Best Buy???

Really!?!? "Coming from no where"?
1st off, that is not coming from thin air, if you actually read my post, it explains my logic and where that date came from. I understand what Best Buy told you, they told me the same thing when I pre-ordered mine in store (by 3 managers no less), so I hope my estimated 10/3 date is wrong. But let me explain again why I think Best Buy is full of hot air and does not know what they are talking about. AGAIN I hope I was told the truth by Best Buy and I am wrong but with my past experience, this is what has ALWAYS happened.

#1 Best Buy has a history of having AT&T devices in store the same day the AT&T stores have them, not before
#2 AT&T ships pre-orders 2 days before they are available in store. This way people that pre-order their phones get them the same day everyone else can, they just don't have to wait in line at the store
#3 The ONLY real date we have is the one where AT&T says they will ship pre-orders on 10/1 with 2nd day shipping (Best Buy as of 5:18am PST has removed the dates from the White and Black units)
#4 If it ships on 10/1 with 2nd day shipping, that is 10/2 = day 1 & 10/3 = day 2. This is where the 10/3 day comes from

So if Best Buy is telling the truth, then you and I am very lucky and will have our devices before the people that buy them from AT&T. If not, I'm hoping to at least be able to pick it up on 10/3 from Best Buy at the latest.

There have been a lot of misunderstandings (and the date still says 9/27 for me), but at this point I think it's safe to say 9/27 is not the release date. I'm hoping, however, that it is the ship date so that people buying from Best Buy will receive their phones/be ready for pickup on release day 10/1. I'll be waiting for my email.

My best advice to all of here, is to call up, and ask if they are selling the Note 3 on Friday. I'm more concerned with them being able to match AT&T's full retail price than anything else.

Just Called Best Buy Corporate/Consumer Customer Servce 1 (888) 237-8289. He said the offical release date for the GN3 was 9/27 for best buy. I told him about the issues on the website, that sometimes it would say release not available or coming soon and he basically cut me and said the date was 9/27! So we will see!

Probably the best and most encouraging news thus far. Those folks on that line should have the most direct access to the official dates and info on their computers. And he actually acted sure of it...

I don't believe for a minute that BB will have them for sale on Friday. I booked an appt with AT&T for 10:15 Friday. Since AT&T is right next to BB, I'll check with BB first. If they have one, I'll get it and then go to AT&T and cancel my pre-order.

I don't have any belief that AT&T will be supplying these phones this week. My card has not yet been charged and AT&T would really need to ship by today to support a Friday delivery.

I agree, the phones would have to ship today for a Friday release. Having said that the phones should ship tomorrow or at latest Friday for a October 1st release date as has been rumored. I have other reasons I have to go to AT&T this week and just thought Friday would be a good day to do it. I figured I could try to find out more while I'm there.

This sucks if bb doesn't get until the 4th I'm going to cancel my pre order with them and get it at At&t. Gottabemobile is claiming At&t will ship pre orders on Oct 1st and on the 2nd it will be available in the store.

Yeah it finally changed. Why the hell is it now the 4th? Ridiculous... it should at least be 10/1 since that's the street date. Any idea if this is just a safe date with shipping time figured in or the legit in-store release date?

At this point I would tend to believe we will see a launch data of October 4th for the GN3. This makes since most everyone has there order status showing ship date of Oct 1st or 2nd. If they do 2 day shipping that would mean we would have them for the official launch on the 4th. I ordered mine on Sept 7th, just one day after the preorders started. It was just a few days till my order status was pending shipment, and it has said Shipping on Oct 1st -2nd since that status came up.

Just called my local At&t company store and he confirmed that they would get it Oct 2nd. So I'm going to bb tomorrow to cancel my pre order! Hopes Crushed For Friday!! LoL

If stores are getting on the first then we should start seeing tracking numbers tomorrow or Friday as mail-in pre-orders usually get theirs the day before corporate stores get delivery.
