As you all know, AT&T is pulling the same trick as before to label its LTE Advanced as '5G E' (it labeled 3.5G HSPA as '4G' and real 4G as '4G LTE'). Anyway, they recently sent me a text msg notifying me that the tower near my home has been upgraded. So I ran a speed test got surprisingly good results on my pixel 3: 100mbps down, 20mbps up. It is nice to know Pixel 3 does work with LTE Advanced signals.
