No random reboots or lockups, right out of the box has been rock solid. Oh, it does have screen markers but under the dock icons so at least less noticeable.

Sorry, but I am not sure what you are saying with "screen markers". (?)

On the screen there is a series of 5 small dashes at the bottom of the screen. As you move to different screens, the dash will tell you which screen you are on. There are 5 dashes that correspond to screens with the home screen being in the middle. It is just a way to tell at quick glance which screen you are on.

Thank you. I've seen the home screens on android, but didn't notice the markers. That def will help!

So has anyone else had the haptic feedback stop working? Mine seems to stop working every now and again. Usually comes back on by itself, but damn is it getting annoying. Especially when it turns off while I'm typing.

Using the stock keyboard or something else? I have had the phone since the 17th and used the stock keyboard all the way up until yesterday. I never noticed loss of haptic but then again I used voice recognition a lot too. I hope it was just a fluke.

Icurrently use

It is a shame that a lot of folks will overlook this phone, but at least you won't see these all over the place like the Iphone and maybe the SGS2.

This phone to me is a sleeper hit.

Using the stock keyboard. Also, the sound from the stock keyboard will get messed up from time to time. Like the sound gets slowed down. Its weird. Maybe I should get a replacement?

[edit: using Gingerbread keyboard from the market made all haptic feedback stop completely. Also, I had these same problems using the stock keyboard on my old Cliq2 running the leaked Gingerbread rom (though I just chalked this up to it being unofficial and not fully tested). Maybe its a software issue after all. I'll do a factory reset tomorrow and see if that does anything.]

Thanks Planoman for answering that, I was about to reply and explain :) You beat me to it!

i think the a2 is awesome... its what the atrix shuld have been in the 1st place

All right...I'm in!!! Got mine at Best Buy today! Let the learning curve begin!

So, I installed quadrant today. I saw some of you mentioning the speeds you were getting, so I thought I'd try also. My first try was less than impressive, coming in around 1750. I then powered down and restarted, and on that try, it was a 2137. Not quite the 2500 reported earlier, but it looks like it stacks up well, comparatively, to other phones. I really like this phone, so far. I don't get too bogged down in the numbers, but it is nice to benchmark for future reference, when you think your phone is slowing down.

Do about 3 or 4 in a row until your score levels out and take your best score, that was the way it was explained by one of the developers for the Atrix. I normally see around the 2300 mark

Thanks. Did not know that. I'll try it again.

Ok, tried it four times unplugged and four times plugged in to usb (charge only), just to see if there were differences in being powered or not.

With power, the average was 2507; without power, 2407. Either way, I still think this phone is amazing. And, a bargain, at $49 w/contract.

BB giving these (Atrix 2) away for free on Black Friday (of course with a 2 year re-up)...count me in

I saw that. I am wondering if I can get my $49 back on a price match. It will still be within the 30-day window. I know they usually give some static over that with Black Friday prices, but it can't hurt to ask!

^^^^ If they still have them in stock when you go then they have no choice. As long as its still in stock you can return it and re buy it and they don't want to go through the trouble.
