Atrix will not go to H+ after GB update!?

Hi all the title describes my problems update went very fast and smooth, no silliness there but no 3g or H+ being shone in the notification bar. I've powered off and pulled the battery but to no a vale. I know H+ is working because the wife's Atrix is showing H+ and shes still on 2.2. I've also tried the airplane mode on and off and still no dice. I should have know better to update cause the phone was working superb lately. Oh well any help is much appreciated.

dial *#*#4636#*#* and go to phone information, see what it says under "network type", should be HSPA. if it doesnt show on the notification bar the first thing moto tech support will tell you to factory reset the phone so you might as well try doing it yourself prior calling them.

also on the same page, scroll to the bottom, and see where it says "set preferred network type: should be "GSM/CDMA auto (PRL)

Ok tried that, it was on GSM prl changed that to GSM/CDMA still stuck on EDGE trying a reboot.

Nope didn't work it flipped back to GSM. What is SMSC with the box next to it that?

i think something went wrong during installation. try a factory reset. if thats not gping to work call Moto. (although these guys are no help at all)

Well I will say that my phone did already like EDGE better sometimes but I could always fix it with the airplane trick, but now not so much.

Well I hope it doesn't come down to that, but thank you for such a fast reply. I'll keep you and everybody posted on the details as it unfolds.

Well I pulled the battery again and when to town and did some shopping and checked my phone and H+ is now showing... funny maybe the network just had to catch up. whatever all I know is its working now. But it did show as GSM first before I changed it to GSM/CDMA that must have been the trick maybe I didn't save my settings or something.
