That was for an S4 I don't have that option either.

Interesting features is when you plug in your headphones, it automatically creates a homescreen for the headphones. Notice at the bottom where the boxes are for homescreens, and see a headphone

I immediately disabled the page buddy when it popped up the first time--can't stand that kind of stuff especially when it ushers me to an app I don't use.

I did the exact same thing. Part of this idiotic feature is that it turns on that annoying headphone notification icon whenever you plug in headphones or aux cable.

I'm the one who plugged them in! I know they're there...I don't need to be told or reminded.

Is anyone experiencing a bug with the text message threading since updating?

My replies keep adding to the group of my previous texts, same with the other persons incoming texts.

Nevermind, I'm retarded. I forgot to set my system clock back to todays date after doing the OTA hack.

I started the update then my router went down. After getting the router back up, I decided I wanted to hold off on the update because I don't want to chance losing root on my phone as I don't think there's a root yet for this update.

Now every time Wi-Fi comes up it wants to continue the update. Anyone know how I can cancel the download? Tried to stop it in application manager but it's grayed out. If I continue the DL will it automatically proceed with the update or will I have the option to postpone or cancel the upgrade?

TIA

Man, wish I could have done that instead. It forced me to WiFi... Oh well, just killed almost an hour waiting for it to download via my work's near dial-up network. =P
Don't worry. It was about dial up speed at my house too.. And we have about 20 Mbps. I guess they had A LOT of S3s updating at the same time. Lol.

Anybody know if this kills Root? I really would prefer not to lose it but I would like to update to the new software. Has anyone tried to save root using the superuser app?

Is the update available through Kies? I connected my S3 and it says the latest firmware version available is 4.1.1. And my S3 is a rooted one with official OS.

Has anyone else had issue with phone connecting to PC after update? Normally when you connect you the floating option at top stating connected as media device etc, now PC will not detect at all. Will detect my wife's Note i717 but not my s3 with 4.1.2. Option in settings in gone. I've done a factory reset but nothing changed...

It took me 5 hours to get the update. Servers were overloaded last night. Wish they had told me not to start the download then trickle out and drop the connection. Wasted the evening to get a bunch of Bloatware. Will wait several days if the next update ever comes out.

OK, I must be overlooking something, but now every time I reboot the phone it has Talkback turned on automatically. Is anyone else experiencing this and how do I prevent it? Thanks in advance.

Options>Accessibility>Talkback>Off

Thanks. I know how to turn it off but when I reboot it is turned back on.

I figured it out. I'm using the app floating notifications which runs under accessibility. So when I reboot I have to go into Talkback to turn it off. Not too much of a hassle I suppose. Thanks for the assistance.

I got the update. It's cool! But then when it was done, it prompted to do another update? Did your phones do that?
