So on the 8th I ported my number from ATT over to my EVO and expected to pay 120.00 ETF to ATT.
MY bill usually comes on the 15th so I called to see if I had to pay an ETF fee. They said yes and I would be billed for it.
I wasn't expecting this but i said to them, I cancelled because of dropped calls and slow internet. (not entirely false) And I don't think I should have to pay an ETF fee.
She told me to hold on and came back a minute later and said my ETF fee had been waived. I couldn't believe it. I said thank you, hung up the phone, and did a happy dance!!!
Saved myself 120.00 just for taking a shot. So after selling my iphone to a coworker for 300.00. I come out with an EVO, a cheaper plan, and 100 bucks to boot
So give it a try people. You never know what might happen.
