Hello,

Just a quick question about google drive. I am wondering if it is possible to attach a file located in Google drive to an email?

The email address I would like to attach it to is not a Gmail account. I know there is an option for attaching it to a Gmail.

When trying to attach a file to an email all the options I get is what you see in the picture. ES File Explorer does not give me the option to access drive. I use ES for accessing my box account.

Thanks

Try starting from the Google Drive app. Select the file, tap Menu, then select Share. There ought to be an Email selection there (not Gmail). This should allow the file to be shared over the stock Email app.

Thanks for the reply. I am able to send 1 file that way. However, I cannot send multiple files.

In addition I was looking for a way a simpler way to attach it such as directly in the email app.

I noticed this deficiency in the stock Email app of the Tab S as well. Not sure why it's not built into the Email app.

Just for anyone curious...... es file Explorer does give an option for google drive.

I had not added that account to access it.
