Audio on G8

The G8 seems like a great deal and I thought about upgrading from my V30 which has a really loud speaker. I've heard lots of negative things about the new speaker system on the G8 being muffled sounding or not very loud. Anybody have any thoughts about this?

I've done side by side tests comparing to the s10+ and while they sound different and would give the S10 the nod for better sound I would in no way say the G8 has a bad speaker set up. even with taking calls, no issues.

I've watched reviews on the G8 and have heard the opposite: that sound and audio are very good. It's coming out through the screen/display and so it seems to have a good sound setup. I wouldn't worry too much about it! If you get the phone and find that sound isn't to your liking, you can always return it within the return window and get something else! A firsthand test by the user will truly be the only way you will know whether or not you will be satisfied.

Maybe even test out sound in a store but be wary of the fact that display units do take a lot of abuse.
