The Galaxy 5 seems to make an abrupt popping sound when switching between music tracks.
After days of researching this, I have found that these solutions do not work:
Using a shielded cable
Disabling Power Saving Mode
Buying more expensive cables
Restarting the phone
Factory Resetting the phone
Re Flashing the firmware.
Through all these, the problem still exists. Went back to Costco to return the phone and realized that the problem occurred on ALL of their phones in stock. Went to Best Buy and confirmed that the problem exists on ALL of the their phones in stock as well. The Verizon Store confirmed the very same results. Bluetooth playback seems unaffected as does the headphone only use of the AUX/Headphone jack.
This is troubling from Apple's largest rival.
