audio programs auto-closing

I noticed today that both Listen and BTunes both stopped playing randomly. With BTunes, my music would stop and the program would close- very annoying when I'm on shuffle adn therefore can't start from where I was.
ANy suggestions?
I'm not using a task manager so it seems that the phone is terminating these tasks to save memory (not force closing).

I've had stops and pauses while listening to music/books via bluetooth and found it was being caused by service changes. For me it was if I had left WiFi activated I would get a pause when it lost the connection with whatever network I had been using. I read of others that were experiencing the same thing as a result of changing cell service.

I'm having this problem with my Epic Touch using several different programs (Google Listen, Audible, DoubleTwist). Did you ever find a solution?
