Audio upgrade! ALSA + Beats Audio! CM7.2/2.3+

Hmm well that's okay then.
I only really wanted an equalizer for dynamic compression and bass boost
but those are things I can live without since i didnt even use them that often.

Its built into dsp manager, both of those actually.

I'm gonna give in & try this (IHO GB) Will follow the above mentioned procedure, but how will we actually know this takes effect? Beats notification icon, as I've seen from somebody's screenshot b4, or adding the EQ with it?..what? clarification please

You will hear the difference, other than that, if you try to use DSP or other EQ's, and they don't work, then Beats Audio is on your phone.
Beats Audio mods break any and all use of EQ's.
I can confirm Beats Audio mod works on GB IHO(from when I tried it out a couple months ago)

Been getting the FC message for DSP on reboot and other occasions so...gonna eat dinner then plug in my buds and see if it makes me happy!

But the recommended EQ link seems to open but there are no settings options...is this correct or do I need to have the headset plugged in for this to function first?

That would be a widget EQ. The app in the app drawer is to set up how the widget appears. to use that EQ, long press your home screen, select Widgets, and select audiofx(I believe that's the name).

To use the widget is confusing at first, its a touch and cycle through option UI, no dragging the levers up and down, just tap the one you want to change, and it will cycle through the levels.

I always install/download through my phone. I'm still trying to get Beats to work with CM9 on the V, the method I listed earlier seems rom only work with quattrimus aokp, but not cm9.
@HurrDurrDURP, edit my quoted post in the OP from quattrimus CM9 & AOKP to quattrimus AOKP only.
