Audio when recording video

I know there is an existing issue with audio sounding garbled that Google is going to fix, but it seems like the wrong mic is being used when I record video. The audio of my voice is quite loud, while my subject is nearly inaudible. Anyone else having this issue?

I did a recording at 4K of a recital fri...The sound was excellent...The distance from musicians was about 15 to 20' Four separate pieces(Vids) all sounded excellent.

Thanks, maybe I need to do more testing. It was just odd...I could hear myself breathing, but barely hear the person I was filming speak.
