Not quite sure what's worrying you but try Photos>Settings>Auto Backup>About Backup where you'll find a mine of info about managing photo and video backup.

Go into the system settings > accounts > google > disable photo sync. Then go into your gallery and delete the folder with the video or photo(s) you don't want to keep on the device.

Welcome to Android Central! I'm going to paraphrase what the folks above me recommended:

  1. Open the Photos app, tap the Menu button, select Settings, then Auto Backup, and turn the switch OFF.
  2. In the Photos app (not the Gallery app), see if you can select the Auto Backup album and delete it. Tap the Auto Backup album, then tap the Menu button and select Delete Album. The reason I suggest not using the Gallery app is that it doesn't let you delete albums in your Google+ cloud, while the Photos app does.
  3. To double check, use your computer browser to go to your Google+ page, navigate to Photos, and see if your Auto Backup folder is still there. If it is, delete it using the computer browser.

Hope that works!
