Auto brightness and Accelerometer no longer working

So about a week ago I updated my S7 Edge to Nougat. Since the update, I have noticed that my Accelerometer and Auto-Brightness no longer work.

Things like the Auto-Rotate and compass no longer work, calibrating the compass simply does not work, I can activate calibration but it will never leave the calibrating state, no matter how much I jostle with the phone.

Auto- brightness, when turned on, will never adjust the screen brightness, defaulting to 50%. If I lock the device and the Always On Display shows, the screen becomes stuck at 0% brightness.

Are there any troubleshooting steps I can take to verify the cause of this issue before I contact samsung for support?

No, how do I get into that?

Just gave it a google, tried it out and simply entering safe mode then exiting it again seems to have resolved the issue. Thanks for the help
